The hillsides around the town of Alto-Orvieto are green and steep. They give life to a wine that is inviting, mysterious and a delight to the senses. This wine is a sign of a past that cannot be forgotten and a cultural heritage which unities art and time to give strength and uniqueness.

This letter of the Greek alphabet was chosen to represent this wine as even today it is used by both artists and mathematicians to depict the golden section, inspired by the initial of the name Fidia, in search of a balance between the forms of expression and architecture. But that’s not all, aesthetics are also important.

Phi expresses an ambition to achieve harmony with the earth, with emotions, with time and with the stages of life. It gives force to itself as we rediscover ourselves through it.

The magic of a wine is created form the combination of the different qualities of which it is composed and from the intensity with which this chemistry of emotions is a narration of life.
